Kevin Singer is founder and president of Receivership Specialists. He specializes in state and federal court receiverships, referee assignments, partition sales, provisional director assignments, and Bankruptcy Trustee assignments. Under Mr. Singer’s guidance and with his business acumen, Receivership Specialists has grown from a single office in Southern California to include offices in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Sacramento, San Diego, Ventura/Santa Barbara, Phoenix, Reno, and Las Vegas.
Mr. Singer began his career as one of the most recognized and experienced court receivers in the southwest when he was was appointed as a rents & profits receiver. Because of his extensive real estate, property management and construction experience, it was a natural progression.
Mr. Singer is both a real estate broker and licensed building contractor. After selling another company he founded in 2000, Mr. Singer began accepting receivership assignments. Over more than twenty years, Mr. Singer and Receivership Specialists have handled over 570 cases for large and small banks, private lenders, private investors, and municipalities. They have also managed and transitioned over $2,000,000,000 in assets.
Mr. Singer has served as a court receiver, partition referee, court referee, and bankruptcy trustee over all different types of real estate, businesses, gas stations, hotels, assisted living facilities, restaurants, bars, liquor licenses, family estates/trusts, commodities, and construction projects. Mr. Singer is past president and served on the Board of Directors for the California Receivers Forum (CRF), an Associate Publisher for Receivership News, seven time participant and panelist at the CRF in Conjunction with Loyola Law School Receivers Education Program. Mr. Singer lectures and writes on various topics in the receivership field.
